CadFiles.ai aggregates and normalizes company information from public registries and licensed datasets where available. Source coverage and update cadence vary by country and dataset.

United Kingdom β€” Companies House

We use Companies House bulk data products and the Companies House API for per-company display when needed. You are responsible for complying with applicable data protection and other laws when publishing or reusing information.

Company data product (bulk CSV)
  • Monthly snapshot of live companies (basic details, status, SIC, dates).
  • Compiled up to end of previous month and published within 5 working days.
  • Used to populate the UK company directory in CadFiles.ai.
Accounts data product (XBRL / iXBRL)
  • Daily and monthly ZIPs of electronically filed accounts documents (XBRL / iXBRL).
  • CadFiles.ai extracts structured facts from filings to compute KPIs and build CFR reports.
  • We prefer publishing derived fields/metrics rather than redistributing original documents.
PSC data (People with Significant Control)
  • PSC can be fetched per company via Companies House API and cached in our database.
  • Personal-data safeguards: we mask street/premises and full postcode in the UI by default.
  • Requests: you can request suppression/correction via our support workflow.
Note: Companies House states it imposes no rules on how public register information is used, but you are responsible for compliance with applicable data protection, copyright and other legislation before publishing.
